Richard began the Brazilian operations of Carpio do Brazil and is responsible for the overall results including strategy, sales, operations and finance. Prior to Carpio do Brazil, Richard led from inception the operations of Ultimus Brazil, a leading BPM software vendor. He led Ultimus do Brasil to become a leader in the Brazilian BPM Sector. Prior to Ultimus, Richard spent several years at Peregrine Systems, PeopleSoft, Vantive and Pagenet Brazil in various senior sales and operational leadership positions.

Richard is a seasoned executive with over 20 years of experience in start-ups and building fast growth software and services companies in Brazil. Richard is a graduate from Fundacao Getulio Vargas University of Sao Paulo and has a MBA from the University of Sao Paulo. Richard speaks fluent Portuguese, Spanish and English.
