Chad Lafon is responsible for sales and business development for Carpio’s North American operations. As part of the executive management team, he defines and executes revenue generation strategies and manages the sales process with a team of dedicated business development professionals. Chad is an entrepreneur and 17 year veteran of enterprise software and services sales and delivery with both public and private firms.

Prior to joining Carpio, Chad was founder and president of Nevalon Technologies, a management consulting firm which delivered technology solutions for clients such as Caterpillar, Michelin, Philips, and Microsoft. Prior to this, Chad was the vice president of sales for Sapiens, a publicly traded software development tools and services firm (NASDAQ: SPNS). Chad also served as a regional manager for Ultimus, a leading provider of business process management software, where he was successful in establishing new accounts and growing U.S. revenue. Chad began his career at EDS (NYSE: EDS) as a consultant and project manager where he helped domestic and global clients design, develop, and implement mission critical software applications.

Chad received a B.S. degree in Business Management from the Pamplin School of Business at Virginia Tech. Chad is also a graduate of the EDS Systems Engineering Development Program, an industry seal of excellence for information technology professionals.
